TUSCAN TRAVELLERS GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• Until the booking is definitely confirmed prices can change due to an increase of prices established from local sites as well as from hotels listed in the itinerary. In case there’s any increase of prices before final confirmation, you will be advised by our booking office on time and you can decide whether to proceed with your final confirmation.
• All hotels are quoted on breakfast basis (it could be Italian or continental breakfast, according to hotel choice) and the rate includes Italian Vat.
• Upon check out a local city tax will be asked for, corresponding to approximately Eur 6 per person per night (4**** hotels) and to Eur 7 per person per night (5***** hotels), according to local city laws.
• Please note: hotel rooms in Italy can be either smoking or non smoking rooms, if you need a specific kind of room you are kindly asked to send your exact request to our booking staff upon final confirmation.
• Any private tour includes a private authorized English speaking guide at your disposal. Guides usually pick you up from the hotel lobby, unless otherwise written on the itinerary.
•Please be so kind to respect the given tour schedule, if you need any change on the given program you are kindly asked to contact our booking office in Italy (info@tuscantravellers.com or booking@tuscantravellers.com)
• Skip the line tickets: all the entrances to listed monuments and churches are advanced booked and skip the line tickets (except for a few monuments in Italy, like St Peter’s Dome, where it’s not possible to buy them in advance). In any case you or our local guide on the spot always needs to exchange them at the ticket office once you get there. This can take from 5 to 20 minutes’ waiting time or even more, according to tourist flow. In no case waiting time depends on our company decisions.
• All the images included on this website are only representative and the assigned room or boat or car for your transfers may differ from the pictures above without written notice.
• For private guided tours if an unpredictable event occurs like sudden museum closures, strikes or anything else, no refund is guaranteed, but we will offer an alternative tour or activity where possible.
TUSCAN TRAVELLERS LIABILITY
•Tuscanviptravellers.com is a website product from Tuscan Travellers company, in Italy. Tuscan Travellers is a licensed tour operator with License number: 20180315_PN_172100_ released on 15th March 2018 from Pontassieve municipality. Allianz Enterprise Liability Insurance Number: 731661775.
•Tuscan Travellers cannot be responsible for the Client’s satisfaction, nor for any damages occurred during his vacation at the booked hotel/villa/apartment. Should the client have any complaint about the given accommodation, Tuscan Travellers can help in solving the situation at its best, but any final claim must be addressed to the hotel/villa/apartment or any kind of supplier.
•Tuscan Travellers is not responsible for any damages caused by third parties or for reasons beyond our control.
•Please note: each client must assume responsibility for his own safety. Tuscan Travellers cannot guarantee your safety at any time during your vacation. The tour operator cannot guarantee that the destinations where services are offered are without risk and cannot be held liable or responsible for any damage or loss occurred during your travelling or during your stay.
PAYMENT POLICY
• All the rates are expressed in Euro and all your payments to Tuscan Travellers are to be sent in Euro. We accept payments through bank wire, credit card and through Paypal. In case of payments through Paypal a surcharge of 3.5% fee can be requested because of Paypal commission policies. For villas or apartments we only accept bank wires.
• For last minute bookings (30 days prior to your clients’ arrival) we kindly ask for a total pre-payment upon confirmation.
For other kinds of bookings we usually ask for the following deposit amount:
Eur 700.00 p.person for land tours - Eur 1,000.00 p.person for tours including a cruisade, so for the following itineraries: “Sailing & Driving Cinque Terre & Tuscany”, “La Dolce Vita from Rome to Amalfi coast”. The deposit must be sent upon reception of your booking confirmation.
Final balance is due within 60 days prior to arrival, unless otherwise indicated in your booking confirmation.
• Final travel documents will be sent no later than 30 days prior to your arrival to Italy via email in Pdf format. On our final documents you will find our local Italian numbers for any assistance during your vacation to Italy.
GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY AND TRAVEL INSURANCE
• We strongly advise you to purchase your own travel insurance against any damage occurring during your vacation to Italy, as well as against sudden cancellation from your side.
• In case you decide to cancel the itinerary, our penalties will be communicated within 48 hours from your written communication of cancellation, depending on the penalties our single partners (hotels, guides, etc) in Italy decide to apply. Some partners (hotels, local guides) can also decide to apply a 100% cancellation policy and this does not depend on Tuscan Travellers will. In any case we will do our best to mediate in your favor.
Find below our general cancellation policies:
• Advanced tickets for museums and trains are never refundable in case of cancellation. If you need to change the date you need to rebook the new tickets with full price.
•No refund will be sent for no shows on the same day of reservation (both in case of tours and in case of accommodations).
Cases of cancellations from our side:
We reserve the right to cancel some of your travel arrengements only for the following reasons:
- Minimum number is not reached: if the minimum number of clients required for a tour is not reached, we could cancel the tour.
- Reasons of force majeure: for any unpredictable event, extraordinary circumstances, including an act of God, war, terrorism, riot, accident, natural or nuclear disaster, outbreak of disease, industrial dispute, fire, adverse or bad weather conditions or other event or circumstance beyond our control, we could cancel the tour.
If we are unable to provide the booked services for any of the above listed reasons, you can either have a refund of all money paid, deducted of the administrative fees for handling your booking (approx Eur 100.00 per person), or accept an alternative travel proposal of comparable or superior standard.
Cancellations from your side, penalties:
- In case of cancellations within 60 days prior to arrival: 100% of the deposit paid will be applied as penalty.
- In case of cancellations from 59 to 15 days prior to arrival: 20% of the total booking amount + the entire deposit will be applied as penalty.
- For later cancellations: 100% penalty will be applied.
• In case the final client has any kind of complaint, he is kindly asked to send a detailed email to our booking staff (info@tuscantravellers.com or booking@tuscantravellers.com) no more than 10 days after the date of the service. Any disputes will be settled by The Court of Florence.
